Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

The app provides a vocabulary-learning experience for Arabic dialects (Tunisian, Moroccan, Algerian, Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Jordanian) using spaced repetition (SM-2 algorithm). Content is provided as-is for educational purposes.

3. Account & access

Accounts are created via magic-link email authentication. You are responsible for keeping access to the inbox you used to register. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content & intellectual property

Vocabulary, translations, and example sentences in the app are licensed for personal learning use. Redistribution, scraping, or commercial reuse is not permitted without written permission.

Audio recordings contributed by reviewers are licensed by the contributors for use within this service. By submitting audio through the reviewer dashboard, contributors grant a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the recording in the app and related materials.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer or attempt to access non-public APIs
• Use automated tools to bulk-extract content
• Submit illegal, hateful, or copyrighted content via reviewer features
• Resell or redistribute access to your account

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate but cannot guarantee that all translations or audio reflect a single authoritative variant of any dialect.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted to this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
